Photography with hardware and empathy
The right technology and lighting
Good technology is an important aspect of professional photography. Even today, the professional camera with interchangeable lenses has many advantages over the simple photo function of the cell phone. In addition, of course, the exposure must be right. Especially for indoor photo shoots, the right exposure plays an important role.
Should the portraits be illuminated in a balanced way or should very special accents be set here? The story that the photo is supposed to tell is largely told by light and shadow. But not only the hardware is a basic requirement for good photos.
As a professional photographer, empathy for faces and objects is also important. How does a person want to see himself in the photo? How do those around him see him? And how far apart may both aspects be? How do I capture a person's charm so that he (or she) appears likeable in the photo?
